Pet Care Contract - Young Children

It's a big change when you welcome a new pet into the family, and you want to make sure your child understands the responsibility they now have. Our Pet Care Contract can aid you in making sure they understand their new duties as pet owners. On our contract, the child will sign promising how they will care for the pet throughout its life, treat them with respect, and keep them safe. Listed on the contract are the common care requirements all pets have, such as feeding, cleaning their living space, playing with them, and not harming them. Be sure to customize the contract by including your conditions. The contract comes printed on an adorable green page with cute animals printed around its border. Small critters also decorate the worded portion of the contract. When you bring a new pet to your home, have your child sign to the contract. Consider hanging the contract on your fridge or the child's room to help them remember their duties as the pet's keeper.
