Bag Puppet
Paper bag puppets are a fun way to let your child exercise their imagination while participating in a fun craft for kids. Creative in nature, the activity will also teach your little one more about art supplies, colors, shapes, and textures.
Craft Activity Instructions
Cover the kitchen table with newspapers to protect it from glue, markers, and other art supplies. Give a small paper bag to each child. Set out bowls of art supplies, such as googly eyes, markers, crayons, sequins, beads, glitter, and more. Show your toddler how they can slip their hand into the paper bag and move the bottom of the bag like a mouth.
Explain that, by putting the eyes at the bottom of the bag, they can create a puppet. After the eyes are glued on, encourage your little one to get creative with the rest of the puppet. Try yarn or pipe cleaners for hair, add glitter for a necklace, or help your little one draw on a dress or shirt.
After your toddler is done with their puppet, put it up to dry. While it is drying, encourage your little one to characterize their puppet by asking questions. What is his or her name? What do they like to do? What is their favorite color?

Craft Mom Feedback
This is a very fun craft behind the ears of the bunny my child made I glued pipe cleaners and then I glued another ear piece of paper on top of that so the bunny had bendable ears. The skies the limits on these paper sack puppets with fun. My child really is enjoying the puppet.
