Family Story

To foster communication and family bonding while incorporating an atmosphere of fun.

Activity Instructions:

The main objective of this activity is to write a complete story, with a beginning, middle and end. Ask one person to start the story with at least one paragraph. When they've finished, have them pass the story to the next family member to contribute a paragraph.

After everyone has written at least one paragraph, you can end the story, or send it around to have each person contribute another paragraph. Once the story is complete, elect someone to read it aloud to the family.

Materials:

• Journal, or loose paper
• Pen or pencil

Outcome:

You'll encourage a greater sense of cooperation among family members while having a good time.
