Fish Themed Behavior Chart for Kids
|
Track a kid’s behavior issues with this easy to read chart. Keeping track of the times when a child utilizes banned behaviors eliminates unnecessary arguments later over how often he or she crossed a line. The frequency is on the wall for all to see. Setting a goal for the week --- a maximum number of times engaging in banned behaviors --- allows the child to see how much grace they have remaining before enduring preset consequences. It also enables reminder discussions --- you can only do that two more times before you exceed your weekly allowance --- to focus the child on reducing the number of times they engage in the banned behavior. Positive behaviors can also be tracked. The number of times a child is polite, uses proper manners, or engages in other desired practices can appear on the board. If a child hits a certain number of points for the week, he or she can be rewarded with a prize or treat. The child will likely track the progress of his or her reward closely, further reinforcing the proper behavior and deemphasizing the disfavored behaviors. You could also combine the two, allowing the child to see how well he or she is performing on either positive or negative behaviors.
