Printable Chart: Color Your Own

Want the kids to help take control of their own behavior, but still want to keep it fun and simple? Start by putting a positive spin on the activity by printing a behavioral chart for each child and break out the crayons, markers, and color pencils, and let the little ones color and put a personal spin on their own behavior chart. Once the list of tasks is added to the chart, make sure to hang it in a place where they can easily view it because not only will they love to admire there handiwork, they will be able to keep track of their list of tasks on their own and each day they will be excited to model their good behavior skills and complete their assigned tasks. Add stickers or make colorful starts and smiley faces to add to the chart as the tasks are completed. The more colorful and fun the chart, the more willing the kids will be to fill up their chart, and they will be very excited to receive a reward for all of their hard work once their chart is completed because no one ever said that doing chores or modeling good behavior had to be boring.
