Behavior Chart: Kwanzaa Theme
|
The holiday season may be around eight months away, it is never too early to embrace the cultural holiday of Kwanzaa. Adorned with the significant color scheme of red, green and black symbolizing struggles, hope and African-American people respectively in addition to a logo featuring a kinara, the candle holder representing the seven guiding principles, this chart would be an ideal fit in any Kwanzaa observing household. That being said, it's not limited to just those who observe Kwanzaa but anyone willing to learn about and engage in cultural diversity! In regards to the chart itself, there are ten description boxes dedicated to detailing progress reports on behavior, clarity on tasks, specifics on objectives being set among other things. Rows specifically for all seven days of the week are also provided and up to two and a half months of progress can be tracked on the chart. Keeping practicality in mind, there is also a column provided for daily or weekly point totals to make calculating total point total at the bottom of the chart drastically easier to maintain. It is also suggested to get the chart laminated in order to allow constant re-use and could potentially double as a lesson to teach children about recycling and conservation.
