Boats Behavior Chart for Kids
|
Children need a routine in order to stay on track and to keep record of their target during a daily and weekly basis. The boat behavior chart is a helpful tool that allows parents and children to come together to formulate a plan for each day of the week. Children are very smart and if they are asked what chores they need to accomplish, you will realize just how much they are in fact aware of. Smaller children may need a bit more assistance in that area, but this also gets them thinking about essential chores and tasks. Figure out together what to include in the description. Feeding the cat and changing the water in the morning and at night could be a perfect description to include. Dusting the bookshelves might be another. What's important is that realistic goals be set and that the point/rewards system be crystal clear. Some parents like to take their children to a special place or event. Maybe a great reward would be going to the boat show at the beach during the summer! Perhaps buying a remote toy boat could be another way to cash those points in. This chart aims to build structure and independence for kids. Give them a little bit of direction and watch good habits form with the boat behavior chart.
