Behavior Charts with Reward Points
|
The best way for a child to pick up on a new behavior is to be properly incentivized for it. This is a great tool that is able to assist in tracking the behavior of a child while also providing a simple reward structure that should help to keep the child engaged as they learn. Proper rewards are a great motivator and having visual representation allows the children to see how they are accumulating points for good behavior over time. The structure of the chart is a fairly straightforward design. It is a basic chart made of columns and rows where data can be input as it is collected. There are three columns in total with different titles for the type of information that is supposed to be put inside of it. Their is a column where one can place the type of behavior that is being tracked. There is a column for putting the total number of points that are to be rewarded upon successful completion of the stated behavior. Finally there is a place to notate what the date is at the time the behavior is initially completed. There are three additional areas that are not part of the column and row system. These cells are places where it is possible to write down the time period that is covered by the chart, the total points earned in this time period and the name of the person being tracked.
