Child Printable Chore Chart
|
Your children must learn to help with duties around the house, and you do not want them to think that you will do all the cleaning, cooking, and laundry. Using a printable chore chart for your young children will help your kids understand that they need to help with chores. As your children get older, you can use the same chart, but you can add more chores to the list when they are old enough to complete them. Use this simple chart to add the chore, who should complete it, and when the chore should be completed. Your kids can easily glance at the poster, see the chore they must do that day, and complete it. If you laminate this printable chart, you can write on it with a dry erase marker every week. You might ask your children to check off each chore when they are done. As you train your children to complete household chores, you might also add rewards to the chart. Adding rewards to the chart gives your child an incentive to complete their chores promptly. For example, you might write across the bottom of the chart “Mom promises to take everyone to McDonald’s on Saturday if the chores are done.” This is a simple way to teach your kids responsibility and keep the house clean.
