Behavior Charts: Kids Chores
|
When children are able to see the chores that they are supposed to do each week, it's sometimes easier to complete them. A behavior chart that displays chores for kids can be hung on a bedroom wall, in the living room, or in other areas of the home where children and parents will see the tasks that need to be completed as well as the chores that have been completed during the week. With a simple blue design, the chart can be customized with a variety of items so that each child feels as though it's a bit more personal instead of everyone having the same chart if there are multiple children in the home. A section is reserved for the list of chores that need to be completed with sections for points that can be earned after completing each job and the days of the week. Anything can be used to check off the days of the week including markers, crayons, or stickers. Parents can let children mark off the days so that they feel responsible, which can sometimes lead to wanting to complete more chores in order to mark off more squares or to earn more points so that a prize can be given.
