Morning and Evening Chore Checklist
|
When kids see a checklist, they sometimes get excited about doing their chores and other activities, especially if they know that there could be rewards if they earn a certain number of points or if they complete their chores a certain number of times during the week. The Morning and Evening Chore Checklist features fun designs that children can enjoy looking at while they are reviewing the details of what they need to do during the day and how many points they have earned for each one. Animals in red, orange, and green are lined up on the left side of the chart and indicate the days of the week. There are chores to do in the morning and those that are to be done in the evening before bed. There are also spaces for parents to write their own chores if they don't want to use the suggestions that are on the chart as these include getting dressed, brushing the teeth, and picking up clothes or toys. The bottom section can be used for writing the child's name, setting the week the chores are being completed, and totaling the number of points that are awarded for each chore when they are completed.
