Routine Chart for Morning
|
Mornings tend to be the most hectic time of the day for most families because not only do you need to make sure that everyone has breakfast, but everyone is trying to get out the door to go to school or work. Well, even your preschooler and early elementary child can help to make mornings easier by following a morning routine chart. The chart comes with pictures of some things that they need to do every morning such as brushing their teeth and getting dressed, but there are some empty slots that you can add a picture and description of other tasks that your child can accomplish. For example, your little one can make sure their backpack is ready to go with all their needed supplies, or maybe they can put apples or snacks in everyone's bag. This will not only make mornings a little easier for all, but it will also teach the child some responsibility and give them a sense of accomplishment. It is important as a parent to remember to check off their chores with either colorful pens or even stickers to reinforce positive their behavior. They will enjoy seeing that their hard work is being recognized.
