Music Practice: Recorder

Take deep breaths and drink some water to prepare for this musical journey through the reed instrument known as the recorder. This is the "Practice Makes Perfect" chart. This chart will document your child's progress on their way from being a humble beginner to becoming a musical master. The boxes on the left marked "I need to..." will describe your child's different practice needs in particular areas to focus for that week, each day they will be given a score and the score will help you recognize the improvements and challenge curves. The chart represents one week and the scores will tally up to the total point score which will be compared to each week monthly as your child proceeds on their path of mastery to brilliance as musicians. This chart also includes an area for notes on anything specific that might require attention to your child's practice needs and assist in tracking their varying lessons and where there might be room for improvement or even to hone in on a strength, as every creative process to every individual may be different. On the bottom left there is a place to document the date of the week of each report along with a place your child's name and on the right, the total points to show the current progress compared to previous and future weeks.
