Pets and Children: Dog Care

Kids always seem to want a dog of their very own, in fact, they could go about pestering their parents with wanting one. But as parents we know that having a dog isn't as easy as just having someone to play with, dogs comes with a whole lot of work and care as well which is where a dog care chart can come in handy to teach the child responsiblity through the chart. The chart will have things such as how often a day the dog must be fed, and how to maintain along with changing the water in their water dish. Other factors are when to brush as dog and take them for a walk, the kid needs to be made to understand that if they want the dog then they are the ones who must learn how to care for the dog on a daily basis, as part of their regular chores around the house, such as chart will help to remind the child along with helping the parent to keep track of whether the child has done the designated assignment in caring for their family dog, a good effective way to teach a child responsiblity and showing them that a dog can be fun but they require care as well.
