Potty and Toilet Training Boys
|
As potty training time hits, it is important that you help guide your child with positivity and rewards for making it to the toilet on time. By using a boys potty training chart, you can help keep track of the amount of times they have used the toilet and once they have reached a specific amount, you can then choose a reward for them to show them that you are proud of them and grateful for them taking the time to practice. Just a little reward goes a long ways with all children. After your child uses the potty, it is ideal that you allow them to place the sticker on the chart so they can get a sense of accomplishment and pride for what they have done. Once they start seeing the stickers collect on their potty chart, they are more apt to want to keep collecting them and see how many stickers they can get. After weeks or even months for some, using the toilet will become natural and you can slowly stop using the chart after a period of time. Being able to provide them with this type of guidance is surely a great way to show them what pride is like.
