How to Potty Train Boys
|
When it comes to potty training, there is no hidden secret. It will just take time, patience, and some work. One thing that many parents have had success with would be keeping a chart. This chart has nine different spots for descriptions. In these spots, you could put that your son told you that he needed to go to the bathroom. Then, the next spot could be that he pulled his down by himself. Another thing that you could put on this chart would be if they sat on the toilet. Followed by wiping, and flushing. Then, if they are able to pull their pants up by themself and wash their hands. There are columns for every day of the week where you or your child can place a star. You could make a deal with your child that if they fill up a certain amount of stars, you will get them a new toy or take them out for ice cream. As the potty training goes on, this chart will continue to get filled up. There is a spot for their name, as well as what week it is. That way you can watch and see how much they improve over time.
