If your children is an elementary, it is very important that you are taking the time to teach your children how to read and how to improve their vocabulary skills. During this time, your child is just like a sponge that is absorbing all of the information that is handed to them. This is why it is highly encouraged that you were taking the time to read with your child at least 30 minutes every single day. The more that you were reading with your child and the more that you were encouraging your child to read by himself or herself, the more that your child will be able to absorb during this very important time in their life. During the time that you were reading to your child, it is encouraged that you are pausing throughout the book so that you are making sure that your child is understanding everything that is happening within the story. This can be a great way for you to teach your children about communication skills and about how to listen properly. Make sure that you were also giving your child the opportunity to ask any questions on to connect different scenarios with one another so that you are able to fully make sure that your child is comprehending everything.
